It's easy to just send you to ableton Live and recommend getting Max For Live and the various amazing and sometimes free max for live devices including lot's of killer sequencers that go beyond standard daw ways of working. but deep and as complex as you want it to be. If you use a mac then look at 512 numerology. you can have a tracker with included sampler inside any DAW. a modern tracker that is head exploding imo but will probably seem all in line with a modern tracker.Īnd if you decide to check out a standard DAW then you should look at redux which is a pretty comprehensive VST/AU version of Renoise.
